Matthew Wetzel is the CEO of Great Sound Music and TGS Talent and Publishing, two rapidly growing companies dedicated to empowering artists and reshaping the independent music landscape. Mentored from an early age by his father—an industry expert who worked at the world’s largest sheet music publishing company—Matthew developed both a passion for music and a drive for entrepreneurship.
In 2019, he founded TGS Talent and Publishing, establishing a platform focused on elevating songwriters and artists through strategic support, creative guidance, and publishing opportunities. As a songwriter himself, Matthew has earned over one million streams on songs he has written for various artists and has collaborated with acclaimed producers and songwriters including JT Roach, Marty James, Jerrod Bettis, and Justin Grey.
In 2024, he expanded his vision by opening Great Sound Music, a full-service music company now employing more than five team members. The company specializes in Artist Development, Artist Management, and Sync Publications, offering comprehensive support to emerging and established talent.
